Jesus "fears men" ??

Back to: Openyourmind786:

Just where is your issue here?

Have you actually read these Bible New Testament scriptures for yourself? Are they not clear and self explanatory as written?

First Part: "MT 10:28, LK 12:4 Jesus says not to fear men. (Fear God only.)"

" And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell" (MT 10:28). "And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do." (LK 12:4).
...Next verse: "But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him." (LK 12:5).

Second Part: "MT 12:15-16, JN 7:1-10, 8:59, 10:39, 11:53-54 Jesus hid, escaped, went secretly, etc. "

MT 12:14-21:
14: "Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him.
15: But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all;
16: And charged them that they should not make him known:
17: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying,
18: Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles.
19: He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets.
20:
A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory.
21: And in his name shall the Gentiles trust."
JN 7:6-8 "6: Then Jesus said unto them, My time is not yet come: but your time is alway ready.
7: The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil.8: Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast; for my time is not yet full come."

In conclusion, Jesus Christ certainly did live what he preached, by his willing crucifixion on the cross. --dc
